Basic Training is 3 sessions of teaching participants the philosophy & pedagogy of spelling, penmanship, and reading. Much of the training will allow participants to be in a position as if they are students. Focus is on phonograms, spelling word dictation process, and application of some of the fundamental & foundational rules. Specific to school teachers, there is some time to discuss lesson planning & how the weekly schedule may look within the classroom at various grade levels.

Nichole holds a Bachelor of Science from Liberty University in Interdisciplinary Studies with Cognates in Education and Social Sciences. Her Associate in Arts is in History from Darton College (Albany State University). Wanda Sanseri, author of Spell to Write and Read, endorsed Nichole as a trainer six years ago. From that point, she has been training homeschool families & private schools in person and online, serving families inside & outside the United States.
She began personally using SWR in the 1990s (Teaching Reading at Home & School). Not only using this program during her own homeschool years, Nichole began teaching SWR in enrichment programs & sharing SWR with friends. She even introduced her oldest grandson to spelling & reading with Mrs. Sanseri's proven program.
For the last 15 years, Nichole served in many roles including classroom teacher, curriculum coordinator, and academic dean, where she also played a role in developing hybrid programs.
Currently Nichole resides in Thomasville, Georgia, as a college advisor at Thomas University while she continues to offer her services as an Endorsed Trainer for Spell to Write and Read.
