Spell to Write and Read Endorsed trainer Rhonda Bedee provides guidance for teaching the building blocks of English spelling!  Study and practice Steps 1-27 in teaching preschoolers, Kindergartners, 1st, 2nd & 3rd graders + a base for teaching all students.  Focus on letter formation, phonograms, rules, & reference pages in the RED LOG for SWR Basic Seminar.  Extra emphasis is on building foundation for phonics (reading), phonetics (spelling), and handwriting (cursive or printing).

Gather with like-minded teachers while studying SWR teaching methods.  Assignments will be completed:  READING 6 pages in your manual after the first session plus a dictation WRITING assignment Tuesday, which helps you get a good start on your own Teacher Log.  Books & materials needed if possible:  SWR Teacher’s Manual (red ©2026 or new ©2016), Wise Guide for Spelling (owl ©2024 or logo ©2016), phonogram flash cards, rules flash cards, red pencil & regular pencil, blank spelling Log (Red K-2, Black 3+, or composition notebook), printed workbook which comes with registration email, highlighters, notebook paper, & a mirror.

Basic Seminar registration is $153, and Special Guests may register at $110 [alumni of Basic in last 5 years, pastor, missionary, single parent].  Meets May 22-23 {Fri.-Sat.}, 25-26 {Mon-Tues.}, and May 30 {Sat.} in Central Time from 2:30 to 5:30 {last day to 6:30}.  Zoom link + workbook to print is sent after registration.  We recommend that you print your email!
